c. Controlling emissions.

CTI developed its patented repair shields for condenser and heat exchanger tubes in 1976.

This technique involves installing thin-walled alloy inserts into the damaged ends, saving 75% to 90% compared to traditional retubing costs.

The repair restores tube end erosion/corrosion, maintains tube-to-tubesheet hole integrity, allows proper mechanical tube cleaning, and often restores leaking, plugged tubes to full operation.

CTI has also developed technology for repairing failed or plugged tubes with full-length liners, installing over 5 million shields in 32 countries.

This method offers significant cost savings, minimal plant downtime, and life extension benefits.
